CSV limits & store review

Know what the report means.

An unresolved parent may already exist in your store. Global taxonomy slugs and missing update fields need store review. Those are review items, not proof your import is broken.

This checks comma-delimited UTF-8 files using the built-in importer headings. Each file is limited to 3 million characters and 30,000 data rows; reports show up to 1,000 findings with an explicit omitted count. Custom mappings/plugins, live store contents, images, taxes and import execution are outside scope. A report with no findings does not certify an import. Back up and test a small batch on staging.

The code and documentation were developed with AI assistance and checked with automated tests and offline browser checks. WooCommerce’s official 25-row sample produced no file errors; its global attributes remained store-review items. This is a new product with no customer acceptance or live-store import validation yet. It is independent and not affiliated with WooCommerce.
